Booking terms
How booking works
Prices and currency
Tours, charters and water taxis are priced in Fijian dollars (FJD), and the figure shown is the full amount for the experience described. Airport transfers are the one exception: they are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD), which is how that service has always been sold. We do not convert between the two or display any other currency.
Per-person experiences are priced per guest. Charters are priced for the boat, and the price does not change with the number of guests aboard up to the stated maximum. Where a charter includes a base group and an additional per-guest fee, both lines are shown before you confirm.
What a booking is
Submitting the booking form creates a request and holds your date. It is not a confirmed trip until we reply to confirm it. A held slot is released automatically if it is not confirmed, so the date returns to availability for other guests.
We do not take card payment on this website. Payment arrangements are confirmed with you directly.
Minimum numbers and notice
Each experience states its minimum and maximum group size and the notice it needs. Pre-dawn fishing charters need more notice than day tours because of crew and fuel planning. If your dates are shorter than the stated notice, contact us rather than booking online — we can often still help.
Fees paid elsewhere
Some experiences involve charges paid directly to a third party on the day — island landing fees are the common example. These are listed on the experience and are not collected by us.
Changing or cancelling
You can cancel online using your booking reference and access code. See cancellation and weather for what happens when the sea decides for us.
Still to be set by the operator
- • Deposit amount and when the balance falls due.
- • Refund schedule for guest-initiated cancellations.
- • Whether prices include Fijian VAT, and at what rate.
- • The registered legal entity and its address.
Until these are confirmed, questions are answered individually at bula@seatoursfiji.com.fj.
