The day
The closest islands, on your schedule instead of a ferry timetable.
The inner Mamanucas are close enough that a private boat makes more sense than a ferry. You leave when you want to leave, your luggage stays with you, and you go directly to your island.
This group covers Bounty, South Sea, Treasure, Beachcomber, Malamala and Navini. Transfers run in both directions and can be timed around your flight or your check-out.
