The day
This is the shortest cultural day we run and the most direct. You are a guest, not an audience: you are welcomed properly and shown how things are made.
Expect a formal welcome, a look at weaving, masi or pottery depending on who is hosting, a meke performed by the village, and time to sit and talk. Lunch is not part of the visit, so plan to eat before or after. Your guide explains the protocol before you arrive so nothing feels awkward.
It works well for families and for anyone who has a half day between arrival and their island transfer.
